PANTHERS SPLIT A PAIR OF HOME GAMES

(NORTH BAY, ON) The Canadore Panthers Men's Basketball split a pair this weekend falling to Fanshawe Falcons and bouncing back beating Conestoga Condors.

Saturday afternoon saw the Panthers host the Falcons looking to take a game from Fanshawe.

Fanshawe started the game hot and continuing throughtout the game shooting a 50.8% from the field. The Panthers shot only 34.4% from the field and was lead behind the scoring of Ty Huxtable (Orillia, ON) with 32 points.

Sunday afternoon hosted the Conestoga Condors, hoping to end their current losing streak.

The Panthers started the game very well behind Ty Huxtable (Orillia, ON) 24 points, Thomas Gowland (Courtice, ON) 29 points, and Logan Whitmell (Sault Ste. Marie, ON) 15 points. Canadore out scored the Condors in three of the four quarters to capture their third win of the season.

Next for the Panthers will be a pair of games on the road vs Mohawk Mountaineers Saturday, January 27 & Sunday, January 28. Both games are slated for 1:00 p.m. tip off and will streamed live on OCAA LIVE.
