(NORTH BAY, ON) The Canadore Panthers Men's Basketball drop both games this weekend falling to Mohawk Mountaineers and Niagara Knights.
Saturday evening saw the Panthers taking on a very strong Mountaineers team looking to take a game and keeping their playoff hopes alive.
Mohawk started the game strong finishing the frist half with 62 points heading into the second half. The Mountaineers were to much for the Panthers taking the game 102-72, with Thomas Gowland (Courtice, ON) dropping a team high with 22 points.
Sunday afternoon saw the Panthers look to sweep the season series against the Niagara Knights after beating them 89-81 first semester.
The Knights out scored the Panthers in three of the four quarters to capture the win. The Panthers struggle to keep the ball as they turn the ball over 25 times allowing the Knights to score 33 points.
Next for the Panthers will be a pair of games on the road vs St. Clair Saints Saturday, February 03. at 6:00 pm. & Sunday, February 04. at 1:00 pm. Both games will streamed live on OCAA LIVE.
