North Bay, ON – The Canadore College men's basketball team put forth a determined effort but ultimately fell short against the visiting Fanshawe Falcons, losing 81-72.
Leading the way for the Canadore Panthers was Ty Huxtable, who delivered a standout performance with 24 points on 10-of-13 shooting, including a perfect 3-for-4 from the free-throw line. Huxtable also contributed three rebounds, two assists, and six steals in his 37 minutes of play. His strong performance in the second half helped the Panthers close the gap, but it wasn't enough to secure the win.
Joining Huxtable in double figures was Thomas Gowland, who added 17 points, including three three-pointers, and also collected five rebounds. The Panthers' defense struggled to contain Fanshawe's inside presence, as the Falcons scored 36 points in the paint, compared to 28 for Canadore.
