Canadore Panthers Dominate Lambton in 90-69 Victory

North Bay, ON – The Canadore Panthers delivered a commanding performance on Saturday afternoon, securing a 90-69 win over the Lambton Lions at the North Bay Gymnasium. The Panthers showcased their offensive and defensive prowess, extending their dominance throughout all four quarters to clinch the victory.

The game saw standout performances from several players, led by Thomas Gowland, who contributed 23 points on 8-of-11 shooting, including 4-of-6 from beyond the arc. Gowland was instrumental in the Panthers' fast start and helped them build a comfortable lead early in the contest. Ty Huxtable also added 14 points and 6 rebounds, while Isaiah Nanton chipped in with 19 points and 4 assists, further solidifying the Panthers' offensive attack.

Canadore took control of the game early, leading 18-11 after the first quarter and extending their advantage to 41-27 at halftime. Lambton's attempts to mount a comeback in the second half fell short, as the Panthers increased their lead with a dominant 28-point fourth quarter to seal the win.

The Panthers were efficient on offense, shooting 44.1% from the field and an impressive 75.0% from the free-throw line. Their depth and well-rounded team effort were on full display, with significant contributions from Corey Boochoon (13 points) and Logan Parker (8 points, 7 rebounds).

"I'm proud of how the team played today," said Canadore head coach. "We executed well on both ends of the floor and made the most of our opportunities. Our guys came ready to play, and it showed in the final score."
