SARNIA, ON – The Canadore College basketball team battled hard but came away with two losses following a trip to southwestern Ontario. Against Lambton College, the Panthers fell short with a final score of 78-64.
The game showcased impressive individual performances, particularly from Thomas Gowland, who led the team with 20 points, complemented by 9 rebounds. Other standout players included Ty Huxtable, contributing 6 rebounds and 5 assists, and Corey Boochoon, who scored 15 points with 4 three-pointers.
Despite the loss, Canadore had 28 points in the paint and secure 25 points from the bench. The team also showed flashes of strong play, particularly in the first half, where they managed to stay competitive, trailing Lambton by just 2 points at the end of the first quarter.
