Canadore Falls to Georgian in Five-Set Thriller

North Bay, ON - Canadore College's men's volleyball team put up a strong fight but ultimately fell short in a thrilling five-set match against Georgian College. The final scoreline read 3-2 in favor of Georgian, with set scores of 25-17, 25-20, 22-25, 21-25, and 16-18. Despite winning the first two sets, Canadore struggled in the final three as Georgian mounted a comeback to claim the victory.

Key Performers for Canadore:

• Khaled Bryant delivered a standout performance, leading the team with 19 points, including 12 kills on a remarkable .588 hitting percentage. His consistent attacking helped Canadore win the first two sets.
• Konrad Siedlec also had a strong showing with 13 kills and 14 points, contributing significantly in both attack and defense.
• Carter Hummel added 11 points, including 5 kills and 3 blocks, providing solid support throughout the match.
• Peter Ostranski-Ayles finished with 8 points, and Nathan Baker chipped in with 8 points, including 7 kills.

Georgian College mounted a comeback, winning the final three sets, including a tense fifth set, where they edged out Canadore 18-16.
